It is a great day of shared remembrance, honoured not only in Belarus and the post-Soviet countries, but also in many other countries around the world that suffered at the hands of the German fascist invaders.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n\tThe Stalin Line Historical and Cultural Complex has become a traditional venue for Victory Day celebrations, welcoming veterans and their families, tens of thousands of residents and visitors to the Republic of Belarus, and all those who honour the traditions of its glorious and heroic past.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n\t<strong>Daily from 11:00 to 18:00 on 7\u20139 May<\/strong>&nbsp;with the support of the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Belarus, the Stalin Line Historical and Cultural Complex near Minsk will host ceremonial events marking Victory Day in the Great Patriotic War, including a performance by the Academic Song and Dance Ensemble of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Belarus.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n\tThe organisers have prepared a large-scale military-historical reenactment for residents and visitors to the Republic of Belarus, featuring military vehicles from the Great Patriotic War.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n\t<a href=\"\/en\/news\/item\/238-history-berlin-operation\/\" onclick=\"window.open(this.href, '', 'resizable=yes,status=no,location=no,toolbar=no,menubar=no,fullscreen=no,scrollbars=no,dependent=no,width=1120,height=840'); return false;\">Historical Background \u2014 Berlin Offensive Operation.<\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n\tMore than a dozen interactive zones will be open to visitors. Throughout the complex, everyone will be able to test their knowledge in a history quiz, try airgun shooting and tank painting, and take part in fascinating workshops. Competition winners will be able to enjoy a free military vehicle ride as part of an extreme leisure programme.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n\tWarm weather is forecast for the Victory Day celebrations, with temperatures of +18 to +23 \u00b0C.
