10th Anniversary of the Unveiling of the Memorial to the Heroic Tank Crews

21 April 2024 marks the 10th anniversary of the unveiling by Czech citizens of a memorial commemorating the feat of the Soviet tank crews who took part in a tank battle near the Czech village of Hrabětice–Travní, on the border with Austria. In 2023, Radek Harasta brought a capsule containing the remains of one of the Soviet tank crewmen, found in a tank near the border river Dyje, from there to Moscow for burial at a military memorial.
