Operational Military Vehicle Display

An exhibition of operational military vehicles used in historical reenactments has opened at the Stalin Line Historical and Cultural Complex.

Visitors can walk along the specially designated route through two hangars to view all our restored vehicles and take photographs as souvenirs.

The exhibition includes a BT-7 convertible tank, SU-76 and SU-100 self-propelled guns, a KV-1 heavy tank, a T-34 medium tank with a very rare pressed-steel turret, a T-44 medium tank, a German StuG III self-propelled assault gun, and replicas of the German Panzer III and Panzer 38(t) tanks. Also on display are GAZ-AA and ZiS-5 lorries, GAZ-67 light military vehicles, a replica of a German Kübelwagen, and DKW, BMW and M-72 motorcycles (the latter a copy of the German BMW R71 motorcycle).

Post-war vehicles on display include T-55 and PT-76 tanks, a ZSU-23-4 “Shilka” self-propelled anti-aircraft gun, a BRDM-1, a BTR-40, a GAZ-63 and a Swedish VOLVO Bandvagn 202 amphibious tracked carrier.

In addition to operational military vehicles, visitors can see several guns restored to working order: the famous ‘forty-five’ 45 mm gun, a 76 mm regimental gun and a 76 mm ZiS-3 divisional gun, as well as a 122 mm howitzer Model 1910/30.

Visitors can book a guided tour covering not only the technical specifications and combat use of the exhibits, but also the story behind the discovery and restoration of each particular vehicle or gun.  The tour takes place in an area normally closed to visitors, behind the barrier and close to the vehicles. With the guide’s permission, visitors may have their photograph taken on a tank.

When visiting the operational military vehicle pavilion, we recommend wearing practical clothing and footwear.  For further information, please call +375 17 5121233 or email tourism@stalin-line.by
