On 10 May 2015, Stalin Line hosted a reenactment of battles marking the 70th anniversary of Victory. The Sunday was sunny and hot. Although two battle reenactments had already taken place at Stalin Line on 9 May, the stands were once again full on 10 May.

Just before the reenactment began, parachutists demonstrated their skills. The spectators were first impressed by the landing of a huge national flag of our republic.
The precise landing of nine parachutists on a small area in front of the spectators’ stand then caused particular excitement.
When the skilled parachutists had gathered up their parachutes and walked past the delighted spectators, it became clear that some of them were very young participants.
The parachutists were followed by a Yak-52 aircraft performing aerobatic manoeuvres.
As soon as the aircraft had departed, the reenactment participants were called to form up. The last photographs were taken before the ‘battle’.
The film crew was also ready.
At last, the first explosions and shots rang out, and the German nurses immediately ran for cover.
A fierce exchange of fire began.
A German tank was knocked out.
After several explosions, even the large crowd of spectators was enveloped in smoke.
When the smoke cleared, diesel engines roared behind the hill. Awaiting the appearance of the Soviet tanks, the spectators once again stood poised with cameras in hand.
They were not disappointed, and a T-34 soon appeared.

It was followed by an SU-100, its tracks clattering.
With these reinforcements, our troops launched a decisive offensive.
After a fierce clash, the Victory Banner was raised over the Reichstag!
The enemy was defeated — the war was over.

The performance ended, and the spectators made their way to the operational military vehicle display. There, the BT-7 convertible tank was resting after the parade. During the parade, it had demonstrated its unique ability to travel on its wheels!
It turned out that even one person could easily raise the T-55 tank’s 100 mm gun!
