11 September — Unveiling of the Monument to G. K. Zhukov and Battle Reenactment

The reenactment begins at 16:00.

With the support and participation of the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Belarus, the “Memory of Afghanistan” Charitable Foundation for Assistance to Internationalist Veterans will hold Tankers’ Day celebrations at the Stalin Line Historical and Cultural Complex on 11 September 2015 for veterans of the Great Patriotic War, tank troops and internationalist veterans, as well as residents and visitors to Minsk and the Minsk Region.

The celebrations will feature an extensive programme, planned to include:

  • 15:00 Unveiling of the monument to Georgy Konstantinovich Zhukov;
  • 16:00 Reenactment of Great Patriotic War ‘combat operations’.

A brief list of the tanks taking part in the Tankers’ Day celebrations: BT-7, T-34-76, T-34-85, SU-100, T-44, StuG, PzKpfw III (replica).

Also on 11 September, ahead of the anniversary of the establishment of the Investigative Committee of the Republic of Belarus:

  • officers from units of the Investigative Committee will take the oath at a formal ceremony.
  • The principal equipment will be displayed from the Investigative Committee’s Mobile Forensic Laboratory : an inflatable tent, electronic fingerprint scanner, forensic kits, metal detectors, ground-penetrating radar, laser rangefinder and much more. The laboratory’s main purpose is to transport forensic specialists and equipment to crime scenes to assist investigators in locating and collecting evidence.

Admission Prices:

1. Adults – 100,000 roubles;

2. Children (school pupils and full-time students) – 50,000 roubles;

3. Preschool children – free.

Admission tickets will be available from the ticket offices at the Stalin Line Historical and Cultural Complex on the day of the event.

The Stalin Line Historical and Cultural Complex is located on the P28 road (Minsk–Molodechno), 20 km from the Minsk Ring Road.
Visitors arriving by car can use two equipped paid car parks or a new free unpaved parking area with space for 800 vehicles.

For visitors without their own transport, shared minibuses bound for Molodechno depart from the Druzhnaya bus terminal every 20 minutes. By paying the full fare, you can travel to the Stalin Line stop.
