On 20 June 2020, a press conference marking the 15th anniversary of the opening of the Stalin Line Historical and Cultural Complex was held at the complex.
Those attending included Alexander Yuryevich Bazarnov, the first director of the Stalin Line Historical and Cultural Complex, members of the “Soldiers of Victory” Club and guests.

The conference was opened by Alexander Mikhailovich Metla, who initiated the construction of the Stalin Line Historical and Cultural Complex and is director of the “Memory of Afghanistan” Foundation. He was followed by the heads of the government bodies involved in constructing facilities at the complex. The conference concluded with a performance by “USSR”, the musical group of the Russian and Belarusian Union of Afghanistan Veterans.

The oath-taking ceremony was attended by reenactors from Russia, guests and relatives of members of the “Soldiers of Victory” Club. Among them was Marina Makei, whose two daughters and son had joined the club.
