“Battle of the Cars 2” Report

On 24 September 2016, our complex hosted one of the year’s most extreme events — “Battle of the Cars 2”, organised jointly with the arenaderby.by team.
This type of motoring show originated in America and is now gaining popularity here. The strongest demolition derby teams gathered at Stalin Line for a spectacular programme of car battles and a mesmerising performance by the “Illizium” team.
Visitors to the complex were welcomed by charming hostesses and entertainers. Numerous food outlets were available for our guests, while younger visitors could enjoy the children’s playground, sweets and entertainment.

At the start of the show, Ignat Shilov presented the audience with the “Porcupine”, specially built for “Battle of the Cars 2” by the complex’s skilled craftsmen. He then introduced the drivers, including his father, Yuri Shilov.

The host presented flowers to Alevtina Yenderyukova, the only female driver in the car battles, who had travelled from Kazan. Her car, built at Stalin Line, bore a slogan popular in Kazan: “My Grandfather Shook Berlin”.

In the second heat, Alexander Yegunov competed in a white IZH-412, winning the Audience Choice Award for his courageous performance!

A spectacular performance by vehicles in the Unlim class.

A Norwegian car-battle competitor performed in a vehicle built at Stalin Line.

During the intervals between battles, the female vocalists of “Illizium” performed.

The show continued after nightfall.

“Battle of the Cars 2” ended in complete darkness. The winners were then presented with their awards, followed by a fire show.
