The “Memory of Afghanistan” Charitable Foundation for Assistance to Internationalist Veterans, with the support and participation of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Belarus and the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Belarus, is holding a celebration of Rescuers’ Day (19 January) at the Stalin Line Historical and Cultural Complex.
A spectacular show has been prepared for visitors to the complex, featuring professional stunt performers led by Roman Ivanovich Korolev. Thrilling vehicle stunts and scorching flames await you!
At 13:00 on 17 January, a unique special operation will be launched to rescue Father Frost. According to operational intelligence, despite all warnings, Father Frost will hurry to the children’s show by taking the shortest route across thin ice!
The activity areas open at 11:00:
— Field forge;
— Laser tag and sword ‘battle’.
Provisional programme for the main event at 13:00:
Demonstration of the capabilities of specialist equipment and practical exercises by representatives of the Ministry of Emergency Situations:
— Fire in a residential building (explosion hazard);
— Road traffic accident response (a vehicle loses control and plunges over a precipice);
— Accident at a chemical facility;
— Water rescue.
Following his miraculous rescue, Father Frost will congratulate everyone, including veterans and employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Belarus, on their professional holiday, Rescuers’ Day.
17 January will have been a difficult day for Father Frost, so he has decided that it is time to rest and recuperate, as well as begin preparing presents for next year. The Stalin Line’s principal winter resident will bid farewell to all visitors to the complex until 24 December 2016.
At 14:00, the Shuravi Club will stage a reenactment of ‘combat operations’ during the Afghan War: the battle for a checkpoint. BMP-1, BMD-1 and BTR-D vehicles are expected to take part;
Cold winter weather with precipitation is forecast for Rescuers’ Day, with temperatures expected to fall to −16 °C. We recommend that visitors dress warmly, while we will make sure the food is especially tasty. Designated areas will also be provided where visitors can warm up.

Admission tickets are available to all visitors on our Stalin Line Historical and Cultural Complex website, or from the ticket offices at the Stalin Line Historical and Cultural Complex on the day of the event.
Children under the age of 6 do not require a ticket and may attend the event free of charge when accompanied by an adult. Children aged 6 to 18 require a child ticket.

How to Get Here
The Stalin Line Historical and Cultural Complex is located at kilometre 31 of the P28 Minsk–Molodechno road, 20 km from the Minsk Ring Road.
Visitors arriving by car can use the designated car parks with 500 spaces (points 2 and 3 on the map). Directions to the Stalin Line Historical and Cultural Complex are available on the map.
A free unpaved visitor car park with 800 spaces will be available (point 5 on the map; the turning for the car park is marked as point 4).
For visitors without their own transport, shared minibuses bound for Molodechno depart from the Druzhnaya bus station every 20 minutes. Passengers paying the full fare can travel to the Stalin Line stop.
