On 22 April 2017, a new season of the Battle of the Cars 2017 demolition derby began at the complex. The event was organised by the “Memory of Afghanistan” Charitable Foundation, the Stalin Line Historical and Cultural Complex and Arenaderby.by.
Several photo areas were available to visitors, where they could have their photographs taken free of charge while holding weapons, posing with post-apocalyptic performers or against backdrops specially built for the show:
