80th Anniversary of the Great Victory at Stalin Line

On 9 and 10 May 2025, the Stalin Line Historical and Cultural Complex hosted large-scale celebrations marking the 80th anniversary of the Soviet Union’s victory over Nazi Germany.
 
Visitors enjoyed a packed festive programme featuring a performance by the band of the 56th Independent Tilsit Order of the Red Star Air Force and Air Defence Signals Regiment; a musical programme presented by the Security Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Belarus; demonstrations by dog handlers from the canine centre of Military Unit 2044; a 1940s-inspired fashion show by the “Real Age” Fashion Theatre; a Ready for Labour and Defence (GTO) competition area; photo opportunities with Red Army reenactors; a memorial prayer for all those who died in the Great Patriotic War; and tank rides.
 
 
 
At 14:00, a reenactment of a battle from the Berlin Offensive began. It included an episode depicting the heroic rescue of a German girl by Soviet soldier Trifon Lukyanovich.
