Closing of Father Frost’s Residence

3 January was the final day of Father Frost’s Residence at Stalin Line.

The snow that had fallen the day before added to the festive atmosphere at the Residence.

To reach Father Frost, our guests first had to ‘knock out’ a German tank.

They also competed in ring tossing and air rifle shooting.

The children then met Father Frost, recited poems or sang songs for him. He gave them New Year gifts and posed for souvenir photographs with them.

Visitors could warm up with tea and enjoy pancakes in the Residence’s cosy café. At the festive photo area, guests could have their photographs taken free of charge while holding weapons or posing with Father Frost and the Snow Maiden. This year, the Residence welcomed visitors not only from Belarus and Russia, but also from the USA, Greece, Libya and Iraq.

At Father Frost’s Residence, guests could borrow snow tubes free of charge and ride them down the Stalin Line slope.

Before leaving, guests could visit another photo area and have their photographs taken free of charge in a festive sleigh.
