On 20 February 2021, the Stalin Line Historical and Cultural Complex marked Defenders of the Fatherland and Armed Forces of the Republic of Belarus Day.
The Defenders of the Fatherland Day celebrations at Stalin Line began with the arrival of participants in the “We Will Not Give Up What We Love!” motor rally.
At 14:00, a spectacular reenactment of a Great Patriotic War battle began. Spectators saw entire columns of armoured vehicles, civilians, ski troops and partisans, as well as Red Army troops and Wehrmacht soldiers in winter battles for the liberation of Belarus in February 1944.
This was followed by displays by military dog handlers.
At 16:00, a reenactment of a battle from the Soviet–Afghan War began.
Between the reenactments, visitors could take a helicopter flight or ride in a PT-76 tank or BMD-1.
