Stalin Line hosted filming for the children’s and youth film “The Ten Lives of Medved”, dedicated to Soviet Belarusian athlete Alexander Vasilyevich Medved, a three-time Olympic champion and multiple world, European and USSR champion in freestyle wrestling.
On the first day, filming took place at the Artillery Half-Caponier and the Stalin Line’s anti-tank obstacles, as well as by the armoured train and Sovetskaya Station.
On the second day, filming took place in the operational vehicle hangar (inside a T-34 tank) and in the Granit hangar, where scenes depicting a Red Army headquarters during the Great Patriotic War were filmed, followed by scenes set in a command bunker during the Cuban Missile Crisis of 1962, when the USSR and the United States came to the brink of nuclear war.
On the third day, filming took place on the battlefield, where a tank duel unfolded between a Soviet T-34 and a German Panzer III.
