
At dawn on 22 June 2020, the “No to War” commemoration was held at the complex to mark the 79th anniversary of the beginning of the Great Patriotic War.
It was organised by members of the Patriot and Storm military-patriotic clubs.
At 03:00, in memory of the German air raid on the Black Sea Fleet’s ships in Sevastopol on 22 June 1941, they lit 75 memorial lamps at the Naval Brotherhood monument and laid a garland of fir branches.
At 04:00, in memory of the outbreak of hostilities along the entire western border of the USSR, a commemoration was also held at Artillery Half-Caponier No. 134. Valery Ivanovich Perevoshchikov, head of the Patriot club, addressed those present.
