On 12 August, the “The Deeds of Our Great-Grandfathers Live On in Our Hearts” campaign, organised by the Investigative Committee of the Republic of Belarus, took place at the Stalin Line Historical and Cultural Complex. Participants included schoolchildren from the Union State staying at the Zubryonok National Children’s Centre.
They were welcomed by Andrei Trusov, Deputy Head of Tourism and Guided Tour Services. The guests laid flowers at the monument to Marshal of Victory Georgy Zhukov before setting off on a guided tour along the historical route. During the tour, they learnt about the Stalin Line as a system of defensive fortifications and its role in thwarting the German blitzkrieg.
