“The Deeds of Our Great-Grandfathers Live On in Our Hearts” Campaign at Stalin Line

On 11 August 2022, the patriotic campaign “The Deeds of Our Great-Grandfathers Live On in Our Hearts” was held at Stalin Line as part of the implementation of the principal objectives of the Union State.

 

The Belarusian participants included representatives of the senior leadership of the Investigative Committee of the Republic of Belarus and children from the Zubryonok National Children’s Centre. The Russian participants were cadets from the Cadet Corps and a delegation from the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation, headed by Hero of Russia Major General Sergei Vasilyevich Petrov, Head of the Educational and Training Department of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation. The guests were welcomed by Alexander Alexandrovich Metla, Executive Director of the Stalin Line Historical and Cultural Complex. The delegations laid flowers at the monument to Marshal G. K. Zhukov before setting off on guided tours of the Stalin Line historical route.

 

 

 The Hero of Russia also visited the shooting range, where he knocked out a German tank with a 45 mm gun.
