The Historical and Cultural Complex recently welcomed an Australian couple who are now undertaking their second round-the-world journey in an ISUZU vehicle.
Their first tour lasted from 2005 to 2009. They cross the oceans by ship, taking their vehicle with them. The couple enjoyed travelling so much that, after a short break, they set off again. The Australians began their second round-the-world journey in 2009, so they have now been on the road for nine years! Their ‘home on wheels’ is decorated not only with a map showing their route, but also with the number plates and flags of the countries they have visited. These include the flag of Belarus. Our guide, Diana Storozhenko, welcomed the visitors and spoke with them. In keeping with our tradition of hospitality, she brought out an Australian flag, invited the couple to pose with it in front of our banner, and then ceremonially raise it.
