Meeting of Participants in the “Victory Achieved through Unity!” Motor Rally

On 5 May 2015, the Stalin Line Historical and Cultural Complex welcomed participants in the “Victory Achieved through Unity!” motor rally. The rally was organised by the administration and trade union committee of Moscow State University of Civil Engineering and the Minsk Regional Association of Trade Unions.

The guests from Moscow were welcomed by representatives of the local authorities, veterans’ organisations of the Minsk Region, the “Memory of Afghanistan” Foundation and young people from the agrotown of Loshany. The meeting of the descendants of those who defeated fascism included a joint rally, a concert and a ceremony honouring veterans.

Staff from the Stalin Line Historical and Cultural Complex gave the guests guided tours of the fortified region’s installations, telling the visitors from Moscow about the courage and heroism of those who defended the frontiers of our common Fatherland, bore the brunt of the aggressor’s first attack and laid down their lives to pave the way for the future Great Victory.
