Victory Day at Stalin Line

On 8 and 9 May, Stalin Line hosted celebrations marking the Soviet Union’s Victory Day over fascist Germany.

 

Visitors to the complex enjoyed a festive programme featuring a free Ready for Labour and Defence (GTO) competition area, with commemorative prizes for the winners, a concert, a dog-handling demonstration, tank and helicopter rides, shooting at the shooting range, and opportunities to take photographs with Red Army soldiers, the flag of the Soviet Union and the weapons of Victory.

 

 

At 14:00, a Great Patriotic War battle reenactment began.
