At 14:00, a battle reenactment began, comprising three episodes: the events of September 1939, when the lands of Western and Eastern Belarus were united within a single republic; the demarcation of the border with Germany and the establishment of peaceful life in the territories incorporated into the Byelorussian Soviet Socialist Republic; and Nazi Germany’s attack on the Soviet Union on 22 June 1941, followed by the battle and heroic last stand of a Soviet border outpost.
