On 31 May 2025, Stalin Line hosted celebrations marking Border Guards Day, with the active participation of the State Border Committee of the Republic of Belarus. Visitors enjoyed concert and dance programmes, as well as performances by cadets demonstrating hand-to-hand combat, the Guard of Honour Company, dog handlers and the “Real Age” Fashion Theatre.
At 14:00, a reenactment began depicting a battle during the liberation of the Byelorussian Soviet Socialist Republic and the involvement of NKVD border troops.
It concluded with the border troops’ orchestra marching onto the field, followed by a ceremonial parade of the reenactment participants, a formal assembly and a minute’s silence.
Afterwards, a memorial service was held in the Chapel of St Alexander Nevsky for Red Army soldiers who died in the Great Patriotic War. It was conducted by Father Ioann, who served in a mobile unit of the Border Troops of the Republic of Belarus in 2005.
