Tankers’ Day at Stalin Line

Tankers’ Day celebrations began at Stalin Line on 7 September 2024.

 

Guests enjoyed a concert, a Ready for Labour and Defence (GTO) competition area and the game World of Tanks.

 

 

At 14:00, a reenactment of a Great Patriotic War battle began. It was dedicated to the tank crew heroes Ivan Mirenkov and Alexander Fen, who lived in Minsk.

 

 

 

A reenactment of a battle from the Afghan War took place on 8 September.

 

 

Following reenactments of battles from the Great Patriotic War and the Afghan War on 7 and 8 September, a T-72 tank crew gave a demonstration marking Tankers’ Day.
