
On 24 February, the Stalin Line Historical and Cultural Complex celebrated Defenders of the Fatherland Day.
Visitors enjoyed a concert and a dog-handling demonstration, as well as interactive zones and a Ready for Labour and Defence (GTO) competition area.
An interactive Soviet forces camp in Afghanistan opened beside the memorial of the “Memory of Afghanistan” Charitable Foundation, which operates the Stalin Line Historical and Cultural Complex.
At 14:00, a reenactment of a battle from the Rogachev–Zhlobin Offensive of February 1944 began.
At 15:00, the “Battle at a Pyanj Border Detachment Outpost” reenactment began, marking the 35th anniversary of the withdrawal of Soviet troops from Afghanistan.
