Minsk City Police Department Festival at Stalin Line

The Minsk City Executive Committee Police Department held the “Heroes of the Minsk Militia” Festival at Stalin Line.

 

Visitors enjoyed an extensive programme of exhibitions and interactive activities.

 

 

At 14:00, a historical reenactment began, depicting the role of the militia in the 1939 reunification of Western and Eastern Belarus within a single republic, the establishment of peaceful life and the beginning of the Great Patriotic War.

 

 

This was followed by a historical reenactment depicting the work of the militia in the post-war period, the early 1990s and the present day.
