Visitors from the United Kingdom at Stalin Line

After Germans, visitors from the United Kingdom — a country renowned for its museums — are the most frequent European visitors to our complex.

English visitors are keen to be photographed with the British flag, unlike Scots and visitors from Wales.

British visitors of all ages and professions come to us throughout the year, in groups large and small, with or without children. Some are young people studying Russian. If you call out ‘For the Motherland!’ to them as they ride in a tank, you may hear them reply, ‘For Stalin!’
