From 1 to 3 July 2017, the Bagration Festival, marking Belarus Independence Day, was held at the complex with the support of the Ministry of Defence.
Our visitors could take on the “Groza” obstacle course.
A Ready for Labour and Defence (GTO) competition area was also open; its 20 winners received gifts and a free tank ride.
Visitors could attend artillery and tank crew training, have a free photograph taken with the weapons of Victory against a festive backdrop, and watch Alexei Dudarev’s play “Do Not Leave Me”, directed by Vladimir Leshakov.
Motya the Clown entertained young children and their parents.
The military-historical reenactment began at 14:00. It opened with a portrayal of life under German occupation.
This was followed by a battle depicting the liberation of our country.
