At 10:00 on 12 March, the “Soldiers of Victory” Club of the Stalin Line Historical and Cultural Complex took part in the opening of the militia’s 105th anniversary celebrations at Druzhnaya railway station in Minsk.
At 11:30, the “Train of Historical Memory” departed from the station for Brest, carrying Ministry of Internal Affairs personnel from the Minsk, Vitebsk, Gomel, Grodno and Mogilev regions.
The Stalin Line Historical and Cultural Complex set up several photo areas on the platform.
The replicas of BA-11 and BA-64 armoured cars built at Stalin Line, as well as a 45 mm gun, a jeep and a motorcycle, attracted particular interest from those present.
At 11:00, senior officials from the Ministry of Internal Affairs arrived on the platform, led by Minister Ivan Kubrakov. They were welcomed by Alexander Metla, Executive Director of the Stalin Line Historical and Cultural Complex and a reserve captain.
By 11:30, the Ministry of Internal Affairs personnel had boarded the train and departed for Brest, while Soviet militia reenactors joined the “Soldiers of Victory” Club for a commemorative group photograph.
