On 26 April, our complex welcomed a delegation from the International Association of Prosecutors (IAP) and the Prosecutor General’s Office of the Republic of Belarus.
Our guests included IAP President Gerhard Jarosch, IAP Executive Director Janni Holst Hübner and German Gorn, a representative of the IAP Regional Office for Eastern Europe and Central Asia.
The Belarusian delegation included Deputy Prosecutor General Alexey Stuk, who oversees international cooperation, and Adviser to the Prosecutor General Alexander Dranitsa.
Because of the cold, windy weather, the guests were provided with greatcoats and shelter halves. Our director, Alexander Metla, not only conducted a guided tour in English but also invited the guests to try shooting at a firing position and even took them for a ride in a BMD-1 airborne infantry fighting vehicle!
