
EVENT PROGRAMME
11.40-11.50 – media representatives assemble(Press House State Enterprise, 10a B. Khmelnitskogo Street);
11.50 – departure for the event venue;
12.30-12.40– arrival at the Stalin Line Historical and Cultural Complex (Sovetskaya station, near the Lenin monument). Guests will be welcomed by A. A. Metla, Executive Director of the Stalin Line Historical and Cultural Complex. The speakers, Press House Press Centre staff and media representatives will proceed to the press conference venue. Guests will take their designated places at the table, as indicated by the nameplates;
13.00 – opening of the event. The host will welcome the press conference participants. A. M. Metla, Director of the “Memory of Afghanistan” Charitable Foundation for Assistance to Internationalist Veterans, will deliver the opening address.
13.05-13.30– discussion of issues relating to the press conference topic (the host will invite each participant to speak in turn);
13.30-13.50– presentation of the encyclopaedic publication “Stalin Line”. Book signing by the author, B. B. Prokazov;
13.50-14.00 – questions from media representatives;
14.00-14.10 – speakers available for brief media interviews, if required.
14.10-14.30 – A. A. Metla, Executive Director of the Stalin Line Historical and Cultural Complex, will invite the press conference participants to take part in a simulated engagement, firing from the armoured train at German armoured vehicles;
14.30-15.00– buffet reception;
15:00 –departure of the press conference participants.
