Reenactment of Warsaw Pact Military Exercises at Stalin Line

On 25 September, Stalin Line Historical and Cultural Complex hosted an event recreating military exercises conducted by Warsaw Pact countries.

 

 It featured reenactors from the Control-16 club, portraying military personnel from the armies of the Soviet Union, the Polish People’s Republic and the German Democratic Republic.

 

 

During the event, the reenactors completed a series of tasks. These included military engineering training, during which the participants dug over a section of the cleared observation strip along the engineering defences of the Soviet border.

 

 

This was followed by drill and grenade-throwing exercises.

 

 

At the end of the event, the reenactors practised their radiological, biological and chemical protection skills.
