On 23 October, staff from the Stalin Line Historical and Cultural Complex took part in events in Postavy commemorating the heroes of the First World War.
At 12:00, the remains of soldiers of the Imperial Russian Army discovered during fieldwork were interred at the town cemetery. In addition to representatives of the town authorities, Andrei Oralin, Chairman of the Kroki Historical and Cultural Foundation, addressed those present. Alexander Metla, Executive Director of the Stalin Line Historical and Cultural Complex, laid flowers at the grave of the fallen soldiers.

The reenactment was planned to take place on the site of actual First World War fighting. Two concrete German pillboxes have survived at these positions and were restored by the town authorities. One of them was occupied by reenactors portraying the Imperial German Army.
