
Representatives of the Investigative Committee of Belarus, headed by its Chairman Dmitry Gora, visited the Stalin Line Historical and Cultural Complex.
They were welcomed by the Complex’s Executive Director, Alexander Metla, and Roman Sokolov, commander of the Soldiers of Victory Club. A ceremonial laying of flowers took place at the bust of Georgy Zhukov, followed by the presentation of new shoulder boards to Investigative Committee officers to mark their promotion.
The bust of Georgy Zhukov at Stalin Line was erected at the initiative of Alexander Bastrykin, Head of the Investigative Committee of Russia, and funded by Vasily Lanovoy, People’s Artist of the USSR. The project was designed by M. L. Serdyukov.
