
Festivities begin at 12:00.
On 30 May 2015, the “Memory of Afghanistan” Charitable Foundation for Assistance to Internationalist Veterans, with the support and participation of the State Border Committee of the Republic of Belarus, will hold Border Guards Day celebrations at the Stalin Line Historical and Cultural Complex for veterans of the Great Patriotic War and the Border Troops, internationalist veterans, and residents and visitors to Minsk and the Minsk Region.
An exciting festive programme awaits you, featuring:
— demonstrations by the band and Honour Guard Company of the State Border Committee of the Republic of Belarus;
— a reenactment of Great Patriotic War combat operations entitled “1944: Restoration of the USSR State Border”;
— a demonstration of the skills of Border Guard dog handlers and their four-legged companions;
— hand-to-hand combat demonstrations;
— an exciting concert programme.
— light-aircraft flights.
As a gift to veterans, Border Troops personnel and everyone attending the celebrations, the “Memory of Afghanistan” Charitable Foundation for Assistance to Internationalist Veterans will present a reenactment of combat operations from the war in Afghanistan: “Caravan Hunters”.
All visitors can learn to fire a PM pistol and an AKM assault rifle using electronic simulators!
Admission Prices:
1. Adults — 100,000 roubles;
2. Children (school pupils and full-time students) — 50,000 roubles;
3. Pre-school children — free.
Admission tickets will be available from the ticket offices at the Stalin Line Historical and Cultural Complex on the day of the event.
We invite veterans of the Great Patriotic War and the Border Troops, serving members of Border Guard units, internationalist veterans and their families, and residents and visitors to Minsk and the Minsk Region to join the Border Guards Day celebrations at the Stalin Line Historical and Cultural Complex.
The Stalin Line Historical and Cultural Complex is located on the P28 road (Minsk–Molodechno), 20 km from the Minsk Ring Road.
Two equipped paid car parks are available for visitors arriving by car. Spaces are limited, so to be sure of securing a parking space, please arrive between 30 minutes and one hour before the event begins. Parking is also available along the P28 road near the entrance to the complex.
For visitors without their own transport, shared minibuses bound for Molodechno depart from the Druzhnaya bus terminal every 20 minutes. By paying the full fare, you can travel to the Stalin Line stop.
