Stalin Line Historical and Cultural Complex Staff at the Zubryonok National Children's Centre

On 19 and 20 August, Stalin Line staff led by Executive Director Alexander Metla, reenactors from the Soldiers of Victory club led by Dmitry Kovalevsky, and Sviatoslav Gavris, Director of the Myadel branch of the Kroki Charitable Historical and Cultural Foundation for the Commemoration of the First World War, held interactive lectures on the First World War at the Zubryonok National Children's Centre:

 

 

 

 the Great Patriotic War and the war in Afghanistan:

 

 

Stalin Line staff member Vadim Muravyov gave an introductory lecture on the small arms used in these three wars:

 

 

In addition, Dmitry Kovalevsky spoke about his service with the Zubr Republican Special-Purpose Unit of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Belarus, his deployments to Syria and Turkey, and his personal involvement in rescuing people from beneath rubble following earthquakes. His talk prompted the greatest number of questions from the children.

 

 

On the “Road of Courage”, the children and their camp leaders had the opportunity to fire blank-firing weapons brought from Stalin Line.
