On 20 April 2024, in the run-up to Victory Day, a community clean-up was held at Stalin Line, with employees of the National Bank and Belarusbank, together with pupils from Loshany Secondary School, taking part.
On the same day, Belarusbank and public organisations held the now-traditional civic and patriotic project entitled “Trail of Courage”. This year’s event marked the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Belarus from the German fascist invaders.
The event took the form of a cross-country route march with quest elements, including navigation tasks, riddles and independently following a previously undisclosed route. The Minsk Region was represented by two teams. The “Grandfather Talash” team comprised employees of the ‘Five-Hundred’ Branch, Banking Services Centre No. 602 in Berezino and Banking Services Centre No. 605 in Volozhin. The Minsk Region combined team included employees of Banking Services Centre No. 606 in Dzerzhinsk, Banking Services Centre No. 616 in Zhodino and Banking Services Centre No. 619 in Myadel.
The route ran through the Minsk District of the Minsk Region, near the village of Loshany, within the grounds of the Stalin Line Historical and Cultural Complex. Each team received an envelope containing a map and set off for its starting point. Travelling through fields and forests, ravines and local villages, 18 teams of bank employees from every region of the country covered approximately 17 km. The organisers provided participants with field rations and water. On reaching the finish at the Stalin Line Historical and Cultural Complex, they were served army-style porridge, sweet cake and tea.
