Presentation of Arms

In the run-up to Border Guards Day, a formal presentation of arms to newly enlisted border guards took place at Stalin Line.

Following the presentation of arms, the new defenders of our Motherland’s borders were addressed by the unit commander, Colonel A. A. Rum; Colonel (Reserve) F. M. Bartsevich, a representative of the Dzerzhinsk municipal branch of the Belarusian Union of Border Guard Service Veterans; and K. I. Shik, Secretary of the Dzerzhinsk District Committee of the Belarusian Republican Youth Union. Father Pavel, rector of the Church of the Intercession of the Most Holy Mother of God in Dzerzhinsk, offered words of spiritual guidance to the new recruits.
