On 18 July 2025, Stalin Line hosted a ceremonial welcome for the Polotsk–Minsk National Children’s and Youth Cycle Rally, marking the 80th anniversary of the Soviet Union’s victory in the Great Patriotic War and the 900th anniversary of the founding of the Convent of St Euphrosyne in Polotsk.
The young cyclists were welcomed to the complex by Executive Director Alexander Metla, a folk choir and young women bearing a traditional bread-and-salt loaf. Following the ceremony, Andrei Trusov, Deputy Head of Tourism and Guided Tours, led the participants on a historical tour of the Stalin Line.
This was followed by a commemorative gathering and the laying of flowers in honour of the defenders of the Minsk Fortified Region, whose heroic stand in June 1941 delayed the advance of German fascist forces for three days.
